Born in Arizona, but raised in Southern California, Dr. Lim completed his undergraduate education at the University of Southern California. He then continued to the UCLA School of Medicine, where he earned his M.D. in 1974.
After his internship and general surgical residency at UCLA, Dr. Lim completed a residency in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery - at UC Irvine Medical Center. After subsequently serving two years in the Phoenix Plastic Surgery Residency program in Arizona, he established his practice, specializing in cosmetic surgery, in Orange County.
Dr.Lim is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery since 1984.
Since any licensed physician may represent himself or herself as a cosmetic surgeon, Board Certification ensures an acknowledged standard of expertise that all patients should expect.
